Of Martinican origin, Nathalie G.-D. aka Talina, begins her career as a
singer by taking part in her school's end-of-year shows. Then around the age of 16, she joined the choir of her neighborhood. It is from this moment that everything will change for the young Parisian.

Born on June 2, 1979 in Epinay sur Seine, TALINA, a young Martinican girl, never took a singing class but decided very early to get into the song.
After performing at school shows, she joined a 16-year-old gospel choir at the church in her neighborhood. She will meet Lucky James Cleonis who will be the starting point of the adventure in music.

In 1997 released the album PWOFIL, where they sing together for a year.
TALINA decides to withdraw from the song to devote herself to her studies. She will only make music for others as a singer. First, for the Guadeloupian musician Gwo Ka Jean-Claude Nelson on the album SOLEY NWE "150 years" commemorating the 150th anniversary of the abolition of slavery.

In 1999, she met RONALD RUBINEL, a great Caribbean songwriter and producer, who would first like to try a concept with two female performers: TALINA will propose her friend SOUMIA, a young Moroccan who wants to get into music too. From there will be born the group GIRLS'GAME with the title "Breathe again" taken from a piece performed by the American artist Toni Braxton. Unfortunately, the duo will not work, so the album project will no longer materialize. But the title will appear on the album Kreyol Mix USA in 2001. Then TALINA, will do the chorus for Dominique Madouray on the album SLAM LOVERS in 1999.
